Glen and Vanessa Asquith have over 30 years Customer Service experience and it shows in everything they do in catering.

Born and bred in Newcastle, after specialising in customer service in many industries they built and ran a successful food business in Tasmania for over 8 years before returning to the area to take over Crackle N Spit to focus on offering an even more professional mobile catering service on the Mid North Coast.

Joining them are their daughters Rebecca and Bianca who will be involved in the everyday running of the cafe, Chequers on Lord in Lord Street Port Macquarie as well as the catering side.

With so much customer service and food experience, what you can expect when you call is a new level of expertise with fast accurate quotes and a "can do" approach to just about any catering problem.

Vanessa, Rebecca, Bianca and Glen look forward to meeting their many regular customers and greeting all their new ones, so if you haven't been to Chequers yet, now is a good time to pop in and grab a great coffee or tasty bite and say hi.

HEALTH AND HYGIENE

All food preparation is carried out in our council health department approved kitchens. Very few caterers have the facilities we do, or offer such a high standard of cleanliness in all stages of the preparation of the food we produce.

BIG JOBS OR SMALL EVERYTHING IS DESIGNED FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Our Mobile Spit Roasts can cater for as few as 30 and as many as 2000, making us perhaps the most comprehensive caterer between Karuah and Coffs Harbour with solutions for every catering situation.

Our “Gourmet Spud” vehicle offers a fun food option for parties and family gatherings and allows us a budget alternative to offer anyone looking to cater for a group of people regardless of the occasion.

Elegant Finger Foods operates from our kitchens, opposite the council offices in Lord Street Port Macquarie or onsite at any venue and has established a reputation for quality finger food served by professional wait staff, designed to impress at any function.

What makes Elegant Finger Foods very different is the generous quantity and range of foods offered ensuring no one goes away hungry and everyone remembers your function for a long time after it is over, for all the right reasons.

Through our retail premises at Chequers on Lord in Port Macquarie we can arrange free local delivery of our gourmet foods and sandwiches, or cater for business meetings, conferences or office lunches with the minimum of advanced notice.
